Description

General description
GRIFCO-5101 Lithology Density Pad uses a chemical isotope Source (Cesium 137) to emit 0.661Mev energy gamma rays into the formation,and provides 256 channels LS and SS Lithology Density Analysis which is used to determine the count rates NLITH (energy between 60keV~100keV) and NLS (energy between 200keV~549keV) of the spectrum. The ratio of these window counts, NLITH and NLS, is related to the calculation of the Photoelectric effect Pe given in B/e (Barns per electron) units.
