Equipment Description
Chassis
Jereh HSC05 truck mounted CO2 sand blender adopts Mercedes-Benz Actros 4144 8×6 truck chassis which is suitable for oilfield road conditions. The maximum load capacity is 44t. The OM501 LA engine (V6, turbocharged, intercooler) with NH2 and full power PTO features strong power and is suitable for the transportation of heavy-load equipment. The middle-sized cab equipped has back sleeper, high-power air conditioner and air suspension driver seat.
The power source of the unit is the chassis engine. The unit takes power from the chassis engine to drive the hydraulic system which includes the hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor and hydraulic valves so as to provide hydraulic power for the auger system, hydraulic landing gears and valve hydraulic actuators. The hydraulic landing gears is equipped with balancing valves and mechanical lockup mechanism.
Sand Tank
The maximum capacity of the sand tank is 25m³, the rated working pressure is 2.5MPa and the rated working temperature is -20°C. The design of the tank meets the requirements of JB/T4730.2-2005 and JB/T4730.5. The tank is made of cryogenic pressure-bearing materials and is manufactured by a company which has the Special Equipment Manufacturing Certificate (Pressure Vessel). There is bag sand feeding port, pneumatic sand feeding port, safety valve, vent, levelmeter and multipoint temperature indication at the top of the tank. The unit is also designed with tank top platform and necessary guard rails for convenient sand feeding and tank maintenance.
Mixing System
The mixing system mainly includes the liquid carbon dioxide inlet, sand feeding port, sand auger and discharge port. The maximum flowrate is 5m3/min, rated working pressure is 2.5MPa, the rated working temperature is -20°C and the sand conveying capacity is 1m3/min. The auger goes through the tank vertically and it is set at the bottom of the sand tank. During operations, the auger will convey the sand outside the tank to the main mixing manifold. The mixed fluid will go to the fracturing unit through the discharge manifold after going through the densitometer.
Liquid Additive System
The unit is equipped with monitoring instruments and control system. The data are mainly displayed through the Siemens color digital display. The system mainly monitors the data such as sand carrier density, auger rotary speed, instantaneous flowrate and accumulated flowrate of liquid carbon dioxide, liquid carbon dioxide inlet pressure, temperature, pressure and level inside the tank, and the parameters of the power system instruments. The system mainly controls the rotary speed of the auger, the vent at the top of the tank and the engine throttle, etc.
